Devon Open Studios 2021

I am exhibiting with Rhizome Artists’ Collective in our newly re-vamped studio and the surrounding wide corridors in the old Jaeger factory in Union Street in Plymouth. Run by the Millfields Trust, the building has an amazing history but is now re-purposed with many enthusiastic start-ups and other small businesses, and wonderful conference facilities.

The South Hams and the City Arts Trail encompasses over 46 artists work at 7 venues, including 12 talented artists exhibiting at our site alone (179). It will make a great day out!

I will be showing abstract ink drawings, prints and ceramics, and an installation featuring my Fossils of the Anthropocene with some new additions…

The swimming pool cover that Rhizome developed over the course of 3 days for Plymouth Art Weekender 2020 will take pride of place. It had to be sectioned to allow for hanging, but I believe is more effective as a result.

My passion for the marine environment will I hope be reflected in the selection of paintings and prints.
